Ronald F. Troyan, President and Founder of Trusted Advisors Investment Counsel, LLC has been in the Financial Services industry since 1983. He is a long-standing member of the Financial Planning Association and the Financial Services Institute. He is a Life & Qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)1 and as such is recognized as a leader in the Financial Services industry. Membership in the MDRT currently represents the Top 1% of financial services professionals in the world. He is a perennial recipient of sales achievement awards at his previous and current firms such as Presidents Club, Top Club, Presidents Council, Eagles Circle, and the National Quality Award.
Mr. Troyan received a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Iowa State University in 1983 while also lettering for the Cyclones in Football. He is a 1978 graduate of Loveland High School in Ohio. He was conferred a fellowship from the Life Underwriters Training Council (LUTCF) and is an Agency Management Training Course graduate (AMTC). Ron has completed the following courses with the College for Financial Planning: (1) Financial Planning Process, (2) Insurance Planning, (3) Investment Planning, (4) Income Tax Planning, (5) Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits. Ron is also a Silver Knight in The MDRT Foundation, which is the philanthropic arm of the MDRT. Mr. Troyan is currently licensed to work with clients for Insurance and Securities in all 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Ron and his wife Karen (University of Cincinnati graduate) have 2 children, Paige (University of Alabama graduate) and Chad (Ohio University Scripps School of Journalism graduate).
1Qualifying membership in the MDRT is based on minimum sales production requirements and gross business generated within a year. Each MDRT status designation is granted for one year only. All members must apply every year to continue their affiliation with the Million Dollar Round Table.
